What happens after you send an enquiry
Every enquiry received by JABIL is read by a sales engineer, not a queue. We respond within one business day with either a quotation, a clarifying question, or a clear answer that we cannot supply what you have asked for. Knowing what to send in the first message saves a full round trip — this page sets out exactly what we need for each type of enquiry.
- Step 1 — acknowledgement. Your message is logged and assigned to a sales engineer the same working day.
- Step 2 — clarification. If a size, compound or quantity is unclear, we ask before quoting rather than after.
- Step 3 — quotation. You receive a written quotation with unit price, MOQ, lead time and an explicit validity window.
- Step 4 — confirmation and production. On order confirmation we schedule production, typically 15–25 days depending on size and quantity.
- Step 5 — inspection and shipping. Pre-shipment inspection report and container loading photos are supplied for every order.
What to send for each type of enquiry
| Enquiry type | What we need from you | What you get back |
|---|---|---|
| Price for a specific size | Tyre size, quantity, compound (black / non-marking), destination country | Unit price, MOQ, lead time, quotation validity |
| Size matching for a machine | Machine brand, model, the size on the existing tyre, axle position | Confirmed size and rim-based fitment check |
| Full-truck fleet mapping | Equipment list with models and current tyre sizes | A mapped specification — one type and size per truck |
| OEM / private label | Target size range, annual volume, sidewall branding artwork, packaging requirement | Feasibility, tooling position, MOQ and unit cost |
| Compound for a special environment | Floor type, temperature range, contamination risk, load and speed | Recommended compound and expected wear behaviour |
| Mixed container / wholesale | Size list with quantities per size, destination port | Loading plan, total quantity per container, FOB price |
| Press-on mounted wheels | Band diameter, hub details, tyre size, quantity | Loose tyre and pre-mounted wheel pricing for comparison |

Sending a photo instead of a specification
If the size marking on a tyre is worn or the machine plate is hard to read, send a photo instead. Three photos are usually enough to identify a tyre:
For a press-on tyre, add a measurement across the band diameter if it can be taken safely with the wheel removed. Photos are often faster than writing out a specification, and they remove the most common source of quoting errors — a misread size.
- A side-on shot of the complete tyre, taken square to the sidewall
- A close shot of the size marking on the sidewall, cleaned and well lit
- A shot of the machine data plate, or the machine model badge
Questions buyers ask before sending an enquiry
MOQ depends on the size and whether the compound is standard or made to order. Standard black sizes typically start from 20 pieces per size; non-marking and special compounds are higher because they are produced as dedicated batches. Send your size list and we will confirm the real MOQ for each line.
For standard sizes we can supply sample pieces within an order or as a paid sample shipment, depending on the size and destination. Sample cost and freight are quoted clearly rather than absorbed into an inflated unit price.
We currently ship to importers, distributors and equipment operators in more than 50 countries across Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, South America, Australia, Russia and Central Asia. Tell us the destination and we will quote FOB, CIF or the term you prefer.
Yes. Every order is supplied with a pre-shipment inspection report and container loading photos, so you can verify quantity, size and packaging before the container leaves.
Terms are agreed per account and typically start with a deposit against production with the balance settled before shipment. Terms are confirmed in writing in the quotation, not negotiated after the order.
Yes, and it costs nothing. Send the machine, load, floor and duty cycle, and a sales engineer will recommend the size and compound rather than simply quote what you asked for.
Visiting the factory
JABIL’s factory is at No. 188, Huian Road, Daozhuang Town, Guangrao County, Dongying City, Shandong Province, China. Importers and long-term partners are welcome to visit — visits cover the mixing line, the moulding and curing process, the QC station and the warehouse.
To arrange a visit, send the names of attendees, the proposed date and your flight or train details. We will confirm a schedule, arrange collection from the nearest transport hub if needed, and provide an English-speaking technical contact for the day.
Where to go next
Looking for specifications before you write? Start from the forklift solid tyre range, the press-on tyre range or the OTR solid tyre range. If you are still choosing between tyre types, the guide to solid versus pneumatic forklift tyres explains the trade-offs in plain terms, and the forklift tyre size guide shows how to read the numbers on your existing tyre.
